 welcome
you to Cumberland with gracious hospitality and attention to detail. You
will feel like you are in a comfortable historic home as you enjoy one of
our twelve lovely guestrooms. The antique furniture and furnishings are
complimented by central air conditioning and in-room televisions and telephones.
Your mornings will begin with a wonderful full breakfast. It is a meal to savor at the Inn. Muffins and Coffee breads are baked daily. You may find cardamom spiced apple coffee cake with a vanilla glaze and cinnamon bread in your bread basket one morning and the next nutmeg and toasted pecan muffin and blueberry sour cream coffee cake. Kirsten's homemade Granola has gotten rave reviews, as has the variety of hot entrees, which ranges from a cheddar biscuit with ham and fried egg served with seasoned home fries to raspberry and ricotta cheese stuffed croissant french toast with a raspberry sauce.
Our breakfast have been praised by all reviewers including Linda Delibero, Food Editor for Baltimore Magazine who states in their October 2000 edition that Kirsten is a "superb baker" who creates "outrageous Creme Brulee Stuffed French Toast".
We will happily strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and special preferences. If you are riding the bike trail, we can prepare a nutritious packed lunch for your journey.
